Tamaron SP 60-300mm AE 3.8 -5.4

I have the above lens and am wondering how good the lens actually is. I want to put it on my K10D. Anyone out their have any knowledge of this lens. Is it worthwhile keeping and using on my K10D? It is a sliding barrel manual focus lens. It also has a built in macro function. Thanks for your comments.

At the risk of sounding silly, why not take some shots and see? It will give you an actual result, versus what someone thinks about a different copy of the lens they may have used under who-knows-what circumstances.
