I would take:
DA21 (my all-purpose, walk-around lens)
F50 (not a D, but this is fast becoming my fave)
DA70 (most likely my next lens) or FA77 (I wish I can afford)

I own the first two, and keeping an eye out for the 70 in the Marketplace.
Have some MF lens, but will sell to fund my Ltd prime. Have to be creative on how to feed my LBA, as there's not much left for discretionary spending at the end of the day

Just added the DA 40mm Limited to the bag, so which should leave; the 35mm or the 50mm? The 100mm is there with macro and the 35mm is more towards wide so looks like the 50mm is out. Maybe...

Only can bring 3 prime lens, hmm...

da15/da21 --> landscape
fa31 --> low light and normal FOV
100 macro --> long range and macro or something around 70mm range.

hmm, can I bring 2 bodies?

Currently: 15/40/70

I might change over time to 15/43/77 ... but that's a tough decision...

most of the time i carry 2 lenses : K20 and DA70.....sometimes on some occasions I add to this either FA31 or DA50-135.....
however if I'm limited to 3 lenses without known purpose - i'll take 20+31+50-135

The DA50-135 is really big and heavy to carry all the time. Great lens nonetheless.

The 15 is a wonderful lens ... it was a spur of the moment purchase for me, for went into the camera mall to buy a Sony 5N and come out with the 15 Ltd

However although I still want the 5N I haven't regretted my decision once. I have and still use the Sigma 10-20 a lot, mostly for work. But the 15 is something else; rich beautiful colours, low distortion (compared to wide zooms), minimum focus distance of 18cms (= creative licence) and absolutely stunningly sharp (even wide open).

The 21 however has rather less fanatical supporters but is nevertheless considered an excellent lens if that is what you need. BTW I have not found the f4 to be limiting in the slightest and the 1/4 stop difference to the 21 f3.2 is inconsequential to say the least since most often this lens will be used at f8-f11.

There are 55 reviews on it on Amazon (5 stars) and check out the lens database here first (Pentax-DA 15mm F4 ED AL Limited Reviews - DA Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database for PF member opinions (and also take a look at the thread on shots from the 15 Ltd).
