I think I have become quite fond of this combo :

DA15
FA*24
M85/2

This one does the job as well and rather small and light, but the FA35 is bit of an 'old reliable' (ie. very good, dependable, but nothing special)
DA15/4
FA35/2
M85/2

1 segment of ~25mm extension tube made from a dis-used teleconverter completes the setup in case there is a need for closeups.

based on experience (my camera bag has room for exactly three small primes) these three primes are my favourite walkabout primes: (they're also the most extreme focal lengths i own)
DA 15/4 ltd
DA 35/2.8 macro ltd
M 135/3.5

if i have to restrict myself to DA primes, i'd say:
DA 15/4 ltd
DA 35/2.8 macro ltd
DA 70/2.4 ltd (but i don't own that one yet)

15 / 43 /77

But the DA12-24 is way better than the 15 since it also shoots at 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24mm.

DA 15
FA 43
DFA 100 WR

edit: why did all my letters go to lower case?
typed it in upper case and it swapped, edited to CAPS ,and it changed to lower case again

edit: fixed, huh that was weird

If we're talking about lenses I don't own then this would be it. Or possibly the DFA 100mm macro instead of the DA70.

If we're talking about lenses I do own (zero DA primes) it would be the K24/2.8, A50/1.7 and the tak 105/2.8. I did recently buy M 50/4macro which I could substitute in for the fast fifty.

The "lightest" prime set I would take with me:

DA21, FA43ltd, FA50

(that is because I don't have DA15, DA40, DA70)

If weight/size is not an issue, I would like to take these really fast lens:

FA31, DA*55 (don't currently own), FA85

I think my perfect set-up for digital would be:

DA15 Limited

DA35 Limited

DA70 Limited

I'd go with the 31mm, 58mm Voigtländer and 77mm if I was using my Super Program.

It would depend on Where the 'walkabout' was to take place. Also, am I Walking all the time or do I get to use some form of motor transportation.

Walking all the time, light as possible.

DA15
FA43
DFA 100 WR

Come to think of it, that may be a comfortable kit regardless of transportation.

It's tough one, but on one occasion I've been forced to do this very thing due to limited space requirements in the transport we were being moved in, i.e. no bags allowed, just my pockets on the vest.

My choices were SMC Pentax-A 15mm F3.5, SMC Pentax-A 50mm F1.2, SMC Pentax-A* 135mm F1.8 and on the day all worked out fine, I had everything covered.

I will admit to having a second body also about my person.

You and your pentax dslr are going on a day's walkabout at one or more not yet known locations. You only have room to carry three pentax digital prime d(a/fa) lenses. Hoods and polarisers may also be taken but nothing else. A lens is not yet mounted on the dslr.

question:

which three of your prime d(a/fa) lenses would you take?
