I use this lens on my K-x most of the time. I feel the front barrel is kind of loose, it would rock a little bit if I move it with my fingers. Is this normal? I worry the front barrel may fall out some day. Is there a way I could tighten it up? I know my wife's Olympus 14-42 zoom on Pen E-P1 is also like that.

On my perfectly-functional F35-70, when the front barrel is extended at 35mm, rocks maybe 1-2mm. I wouldn't worry about it. When I got a SuperTak50/1.4 (CHEAP!) its front barrel was very loose, like it slid up about 5mm. I put a dab of contact cement under it and now it's right as rain. But a very slight wobble? Don't sweat it!
