Hey I was wondering if someone here could do me a favour by uploading a pic of the rear end of an FA 50 1.7 (not 1.4), just to help me confirm something.

Well, to be fair, he did ask for a rear shot. Presumably, he means the rear element and mount.

Don't have the lens, but found this one:

That's the only one I found too and it seems odd to me. It looks as if there should be a ring screwed around the rear element, which is missing in that pic. Am I flippin'?

The rear element has no thread to screw nothing but it is true that it looks weird, particularly when you focus something close (you can see the guts of the lens)
