FA 100-300mm F4.7-5.8

I have this lens and am going to sell it but need some idea of the price to ask.
It has the original box and packaging plus all the original paper work and is in as best I can see "as new condition. I bought it as new old stock and have used it only a few times . I need something a bit quicker as my reflexes aren't that good any more. So what,s it worth ? Thanks

< $100, due to the DAL 55-300

I bought mine for 90$ some time ago. I'd say if it's really mint, then 100$ would be a good starting price point. It's an excellent lens, though a bit slow indeed.

I bought mine for over US$100 a couple years ago, think I overpaid but I'm not unhappy. Yeah, somewhere around U$100 is probably market value. Check COMPLETED LISTINGS on eBay to say what's actually been paid lately.

What does your reflexes being slow have to do with your decision to sell the lens?I'm older that the hills with slow reflexes but really like this lens.It focuses plenty fast for me and has good image quality.Paid a bit over $100 for it a few months ago.I wouldn't trade it for the higher touted dal 55-300 as I need an aperture ring on a lens to use it comfortably, force of habit from using aperture rings for 40 years.

It's worth whatever the buyer is willing to pay, which means that what matters most is where you are trying to sell it. Go for a larger audience and you can ask a larger price. I wouldn't be surprised if this lens would fetch closer to $150 than $100 on ebay. On a garage sale, however, you may have trouble getting $20.
