Well, I know there's been other threads on this subject, but I'd like to hear an updated opinion on both lenses now that they both have HSM and OS.

I also would love to know more and hear people experiences, my cousin has the 50-500 Bigma and loves it. I haven't had a chance to borrow it from him yet... maybe soon!

Coincedentally, Thom Hogan just reviewed the Sigma 150-500 on his site today. I don't want to provide a link in case it's frowned upon...but I am sure a quick Google search will give you what you are looking for.

I would also like to find a comparison between the Sigma 150-500 and the Tamron 200-500 since they are also closer in price.. time to go do some googling...

As far as I know, the tammy 200-500mm was never released on Pentax mount.

ahh stupid lens manufacturers.. it must be pretty hard to put on a different mount to expand your market... I was reading a magazine doing a editorial review of it.. nothing too technical, but overall impressions were positive. BUT, of course, this was on a Canon. I just assumed Tamron would be smart enough to make all their lenses for almost all mounts (Canon/Nikon/Pentax/Olympus/Sony at the least!).
