will kx lens fit on k5

Hi everybody
Question will the lenses i buy for my KX fit the new K5 when i upgrade next time Ive got the 18-55mm and the 55-300mm kit lens

Yes, they'll fit the k5 as well as any other Pentax camera

I think a few of us would caution you on your apparent mindset. I mean no offense but perhaps you should wait quite a while before an upgrade. There may be some experience you should gain with the K-x before automatically upgrading.

+1 for the above. I bought an *ist DS in 2003. Its a 6 MP camera, but satisfies my every photographic need. I have no doubt in my mind the newer sensors, HDR and higher resolution will enhance my images, but a newer camera would't do much in way of improving my skill. That takes practice, and 12-13 years since picking up a film SLR, I still feel like a beginner.

Get a camera, understand its strengths and limitations, use it to the fullest potential until you feel consistently limited, then you will know what you need (often different from what you want)

+1. Spend some time with the KX, and then spend that money on a new lens. Buy a new camera body when the K-X breaks .

Camera bodies aren't so important, when you compare them with skill, lights, and lenses.

Hi guys,
thanks for all your answers,I take on board what you are all saying and i do agree,Its a great camera and and i should get the most out of it first, Ever heard the saying ( trying to run before you can walk ) well thats me, No new camera for me for a long time then i now understand what i should be doing
