Have you tried setting the outside oriented toward the sun? Several hours of sun wiil sometimes clear the glass.

They guy listing the ad is a bit of a numpty!

He's posted a link to Pentaxforums on the ad https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/post-your-photos/80467-nature-sample-shot...135-600mm.html

and if you follow down to page 3 on that thread to post #31 https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/post-your-photos/80467-nature-sample-shot...ml#post1587117
A link then points to the police auction which he has bought it from SMC Pentax 135mm-600mm SLR Camera Lens | Property Room
and that he paid $595 for it 4 weeks ago!

And .... he's taken rubbish blurry pictures of it with a Sony P&S - that annoys me just as much as when they use stock photos & proves he know nothing about photography.
The wording is confusing too

Hey Tanner! go on over there and tell him its worth about $560 and that serial no 6599203 is reported as STOLEN in our serial no. database.
Tell us what he says & take some pictures.

Cheers

All the old original K series zoom lenses (K45-125/4, K85-210/4.5, K85-210/3.5 and the K135-600/6.7) had a terrible minimum focusing distance. The K135-600/6.7 had a minimum focusing distance of 6 meters! Attaching the K135-600’s dedicated close-up lens reduced the minimum focusing distance to 3.3 meters. (Of course the maximum was reduced to 6 meters when you used the attachment, so your range was 3.3 to 6 meters)

It's just too Humid here by the sea for me to set the lens outside in the sun. Maybe if we have a real dry day next week I'll give it a try.
Thanks

I believe a good 60W incandescent bulb puts out enough light and heat to wipe out fungus

The man in Canada fixed the Mildew problem I had with my Vivitar 120-600 lens for a total of $40.00 and $35.00 shipping from Canada to Florida, Express Mail. The best a American company could do was $400.00 dollars plus shipping. I think I would move to Canada If It wasn't so cold.
If anyone needs his info PM me.
