Hi:

Here is a short review I posted. Unfortunately, I did not post any pictures and have since deleted them. In short, I was dissappointed. For $1000 I just felt it was not good enough. That does not mean it was a poor lens, but to have to shoot at f/11 to get sharp enough/contrasty enough images was simply not something I wanted to settle for at that price.

It is obvious that the DA*300 will beat the Sigma hands down. I have both lenses and if I want the best I go for the DA*300. I have added a SIgma 70-200 F2.8 HSM II to the collection and now I would go for the Sima 150-500 HSM OS instead of the 120-400.
I use at least a monopod with that 120-400, so that would be teh same fot a 150-500.
