pentax smc a 35-135mm f3.5-4.5 review(s)??

as we only have one review of this vintage lens. got a 7 rating.. i thought i'd ask if there are forum shooters with experience using this glass..
( i have a 35-105mm f3.5, love the build.... very capable older lens)..... (also have the 'f' model of the 35-135mm lens)....

I have never used the lens in question.
However, I have used the more well known 35/105 F3.5 as well as the seemingly (as far as this forum is concerned anyway!) less talked about 28/135.F4
However, it was a long time ago, but from memory, I do seem to remember that both of these were considered superior to the lens in question.

Aren't the A and F optically the same? I wasn't too excited by the F version at the long end, the short end wasn't wide enough, so I bought a 28-105 instead.
