The 55/50mm brothers - Auto-Takumar and Auto Yashinon

I was sorting through my lens collection and found something interesting.

I have 3 lenses that look really identical, the first two are not a surprise as they are from the same family - the Auto Takumar, however the 3rd is quite interesting as it an Auto Yashinon. They look almost identical. The latter is very sought after lens as it's usually branded as "Tomioka made lens" on eBay. Whether that's true or not, I have no idea.

I didn't have much time to do a thorough research except for posting the images, feel free to chime in should you know anything about these lenses.

From left to right, Auto-Takumar 55/2, Auto-Takumar 55/2.2, Auto Yashinon 5cm f2

Nice find, is there a difference in aperture blades or anything internal?

I'd guess that the 55mm f2 is the most coveted of the 3 lenses?

The AutoTak 55/2.2 gets a higher rating in the lens review database here.

From what I know, the Auto Yashinon is. This is very subjective. It's purely based on my observations on eBay. I've seen it goes for over $100 on eBay, especially when it's branded as Tomioka made.

Here is article about Tomioka was the exclusive lens supplier for Yashica since 1949.

http://www.tlr-cameras.com/japanese/Tomioka%20Lenses.html

Below is an excerpt "From late 1949, it became the exclusive lens supplier for Yashica, becoming a Yashica affiliate/subsidiary in 1968, and named the Tomioka Optical Corporation from 1969."
