Want to buy a pentax lens from pattersonscamera

The lens is new and more than 500 bucks, but still a good bargain. But it is a lot of money for me. My only concern is that is this store reliable? How could I find out? Any opinion?
Best,
Feishui

Which lens?

If the price is right, does the store matter too much? Warranty is with the manufacturer if the store lets you down.

a 50-135. The price is not bad. The only thing I am worried is that if this pattersonscamera.com a reliable store? Will they do what they have said ? Obviously they are not a big online store and I can't find many reviews on the internet. There are several of them, mostly good. That's all I know. If anybody have similar experience with a small camera store, your comments will be greatly appreciated.

Well, they are not even on resellerratings.com - I would suggest you look somewhere else - that price (in USD) is far too good to be true.

I've never heard of them, but their website says they've been in business 68 years and they have a store location:

Patterson's Camera Shop
3415 Summerhill Rd.
Texarkana, TX 75503

Maybe there's someone from Texas who's from the area and knows about them? They also have phone numbers, so you could always call them and talk to someone, and if you're paying by credit card, I imagine you'd be pretty protected against fraud by your credit card company (as long as it's not a debit card).

I just double-checked, and Patterson's price isn't that low - it's $849, whereas it sells for $949 at places like B&H, Amazon, etc. right now. (Back in December of last year it was selling for $799 from Adorama.)

They are listed on the Pentax site as an official Pentax dealer.

Under the Goggle map on the link below, type in the zip code for Texarkana, TX (75501) and you will see that their's is the only store to show up.
