Hey guys need some help!!! deciding what lens???

Im going to colorado for winter break? I just purchased a k10d and 50mm 1.4 couple of weeks back, so being a college student I can't afford anything expensive!!!!

. Anyways I was looking at the tamron 28 200 xr(if) non di version for 150 bucks. What do yall think??? I was also considering the tamron 70 300, but i like the focal lenght on the 28 200. Found plenty of reviews on the tamron 70 300, but can't really find anything on the 28 200??? Guys who have used the 28 200 please let me know what yall thought? Also I used the search but couldn't find anything constructive on the 28 200.

Is this for indoors or outdoors? When I think Colorado I think mountains. For that a wide angle is good. The 18-55 kit lens is around $100. Now that the new star lenses are out people are selling their 16-45 and 50-200 lenses.

I have this lens (click on my text) and have gotten several breathtaking photo's with it like the one below. it's $41.00 used

There are several other quality used lenses there as well.

If I had that sort of budget I'd also look at used 70 - 200 (or 300) mm zooms and possible 24 - 70mm zooms as well.
There's a good chance that you can get all 3 for your budget.

Hey, thanks for the reply... thats a really nice shot. I wasn't considering the 28mm, I was looking at the tamron 28-200. But after looking at that shot I wouldn't mind having it... Does anyone know which one is better/sharper the pentax 50 200 or tamron 28 200???
