At the moment, they're decorations on K-mount cams displayed on my shelves. Even batched, they still cost a bit; selling them immediately wouldn't help my profit margin any. In my early days of eBay lens madness I bought batches of unusable (by me) lenses, like a pile of Canon FD's that cost about US$9 each. I held onto them for almost 2 years. When I listed them, they sold for about US$60 each. Nice margin! And a similar experience with a bunch of Jupiters -- bought at US$15, sold at US$50.
I have enough storage space that hanging onto stuff for months is no problem. A Promaster or Tokina or Ozunon or Vivitar or Quantaray or Rexatar, those I'll dump fairly quickly. A Jupiter or Takumar or Meyer or Schacht or Petri -- those values just mature with time. When the voices in my head tell me to buy more lenses, I'll sell those stashes. No rush now.
