Hi,
I just few minutes ago got FA*85 and FA*24. Amazing lenses.
Unfortunately I do not have 135/1.8.
Best regards,
Yuriy

I've had all the three lenses, but not at the same time... Here is one photo from my buddy friend here in Singapore:

From left to right:FA*24, FA*85, FA*200 and FA*80-200. The A*135 is just a bit shorter than the FA*200 w/o hood, but a bit heavier than FA*200. Hope you get the idea.

I have a shot of my own A50/1.2, A*85 and A*135/1.8 a while ago, the FA*85 is about the same size as an A*85, but of course normally FA*85 comes w/ a hood. Just for your reference:

Makes me wonder why the A 1.2 didnt get the star label.
What is the difference between a normal A series lens and a A star lens?

Hmm, other than a green star marked on the lens, I guess we won't see any difference And IMO Pentax can easily put a green star on the A50/1.2.

and why are the textletters upside-down on the 50/1.2 compared to the other two?

Because that's actually the front of the lens, not the barrel.

You know.... at times I am tempted to get decals to place the "PENTAX" on all of them like the wording on the FA*200.
Too bad decals are not so easily avaliable anymore from book stores.

Too bad the A*135/1.8 eludes me (at least from what I am willing to pay for one)
But at its current price, its overpriced imho, cause its significantly more than a new Canikon 135/2.

To TS, why do you need such a picture?
