Would you buy a Limited lens bundle?

I was reading Michael's OK1000 blog and I saw this post:
OK1000 Pentax Blog: 2007 Pop Photo Awards: The DA 70mm F2.4 Limited

In the post he talks about how awesome the DA 70mm is, and asks:

...has Pentax ever considered doing a special bundle of all three prime DA Limited lenses with a special discount?
I think that's an amazing idea, especially since everyone always talks about how they must finish their DA and/or FA Limited collection. Why not just buy it all at once?

Right now, the three DA Limiteds are just a bit over $1000 USD (from B&H) after rebate. A special bundle for $1000, or just a larger rebate for those who buy all three would be pretty great.

By the way, is Michael from OK1000 a member on these forums?

Yes, I am a forum member. I don't lurk that much, but I try to keep up with everything.

I would really hope Pentax would consider a bundle, even if it was special order only. My Pentax DA 70mm is one of my top 3 lenses, but it's often the one people consider the last of the pancakes they want. I figure Pentax would not only inspire some people to get all three, but would be reminding people that the Limited pancakes are a unique set of lenses amongst whats available for any DSLRs right now.

I'd like to have all the FA limited primes, however I don't think that I'd be lucky enough to get the bundle for $1000.00 when just the 31mm f/1.8 is $1,155.95 from the on-line store.

Well, the FA Limited bundle would cost quite a bit more than the DA Limited...

would be a good idea yes, especially for the DA limiteds because that package would be affordable, the FA limited trio is quit expensive if u get them all at the same time.

They could either do a nice discount or a bit discount and then special packaging and include sth like a neat small custom carry case to fit all the the 3 limiteds...

I think if it was a set, people would consider it more as a whole and measure it up aginst zooms. could be the Pentax DA 21-40-70mm Set.

I wish I was a 'prime' shooter, then I'd say yes. But I am not so I can't. Maybe one day when I become really good and get a studio and shoot with a purpose I will feel the need, but not just yet.

I would prefer buying one buy one.
After each purchase you get the excitement of a ltd...

Now I have only one more left

A bundle with instant rebate instead of MIR would be really awesome. But then I am not in the US.

A custom carrying case to hold a Pentax body and the three DA/FA Limited lenses would be sweet! It would definitely show off how compact yet high quality and versatile a Pentax system can be.

I'd buy that in a heartbeat (the case). Halfway through the lenses, so a bundle does me no good.

Pentax won't ever sell a discounted set because knowing all you guys with partial sets you will pool together buy and split up, what's the point?
