Just ordered a Pentax 31mm 1.8 Limited.

Well I thought about it and couldnt decide between the Sigma 30 mm and the Pentax 31mm Limited.
Money was the biggest issue for me as I couldnt justify the expense. Then I put the price of the Sigma and added a good ND filter and a circular polariser and the gap in price closed a bit more. I already have a selection of good ND,CP and UV and protection filters in that size from my Sigma 10-30 and FA*80-200.So that was the biggest concern lightened.I nearly got conned by a real cheapie on ebay over the weekend.Luckily ebay pulled it from listing as the seller was a crook.Starting price was $350US and I was the highest bidder befor closing.
I am hoping that Pentax will go full frame in the future so this lens will fit in nicely. Now all can do is wait and see what results I can get with the K5. Also I ordered a new laptop for my wife.So I dont feel so guilty anymore. She doesnt know yet.

John: another +1 on deciding on the FA31.

I just recently bought one from the marketplace in almost like new condition. In short, I absolutely love it.

I did make the right decision on the Lens and the laptop, the only non full frame lens I have is the sigma 10-20mm. Glad I ordered yesterday as I got a tax bill today for $900.00 and not sure if I would have ordered the 31mm. Now waiting for the full frame Pentax DLSR to be released.

Work hard on paying those bills off, John. But it's worth it - the FA 31 is a top lens on any camera.
Enjoy it mate.
