I own both, it makes no sense to own both, but such is LBA. Both have superb IQ and easily "sharp enough", but if anything I prefer the DA70 due to it's size/weight, that it's slightly wider, and it's better resistance to purple fringing. But sometimes that wider aperture comes in handy for light gathering or extra blurring of the background, so I'm hanging on to both.

If you're planning to use a lens on a film camera or, hope against hope a FF digital one day, then obviously the FA77 is the best choice. It doesn't take much imagination to guess what will happen to FA77 prices if Ricoh announce a FF K-mount.
