Post your images taken with the Pentax 18-135

Please post your Pentax 18-135 lens images. Just ordered the lens from B/H photo. Using it on a K5. Should be here Friday. I'm thinking this lens is going to be pretty decent.

I have recently acquired this lens from a fellow forum member and I am very pleased with it for the convenience and IQ. I am using it on my k-7.. and since it is not a fast lens.. so, I expect it will even be better on the k-5. I will find some photos taken with this lens when I have a chance.

4 shots from K-5 with 18-135 lens. I barely know what I'm doing so everyone should be able to get better results from this lens than me

On the Anacostia River in DC (18mm)

Subterranean shot at McMillan Park in DC. Including this as it was shot handheld, high ISO, no flash. Nearly complete darkness with only dim light coming from manhole above. (18mm)

Above ground at McMillan Park (68mm)

Crop of a Nationals game (135mm - heavily cropped)

Very nice images! These look good to me. Could you post data on the underground shot?

Sorry, i thought it would show the link to my flickr account. This should do it but if not it's ISO 6400, f3.5, 18mm, 1/20 sec exposure

Edit: and sorry, I didn't see the other post, was just responding to the question.

Here are a few casual shots taken with this lens (looking into the sun) just cropped to reduce the size and resolution.

The colours here are done for the most part, there's till a bit of colour left in the Tamaracks.

Wow! Those look razor sharp to me. Great color as well. Somehow with today's post processing options, I'm really wondering about the fanatical need for prime lenses. I just wonder about the advantage versus the cost.

I keep thinking we might sell this lens, but it's a very good lens, from 18-75mm , it's soft at the edges after 70mm, but that helps you create a very nice bokeh on longer focal length shots. And it's a very convenient carry around lens. To me that's it's strong point. It's always on the camera, when we're out walking.
