You have probably read the lens review section already, otherwise that would be a good place to start.

I like the bokeh and "3D effect" of this lens a lot, but I do find the lens somewhat soft wide open. So unless you really need the very narrow depth of field of f/1.8, you may want to stop the lens down a stop or two.

Looking forward to hearing your experience with this lens!

As mentioned by Ole you should read the in-dpeth review section. the FA31mm f1.8 is the highest ranked lens there. Read also the photozone.de review along the lines.

i have the FA31mm f1.8 and it is my preferred prime. The IQ is outstanding IMHO, and I love the lens for more reasons. It is my most useful prime: if I want an 'all-around prime', it will be the FA31mm. The focal lenght is spot on, not too wide, not to long. The large aperture makes also this lens a winner for low light.

Enjoy the FA31mm....

It's very much a see-it-before-you-believe-it lens.
Beautifully crafted, but most importantly, optically excellent.
Love the colours, the bokeh, the 'pop' and the overall look of images that this lens produces.

Yes it is, perhaps better if that's possible. As far as I'm concerned the FA31 is the king of IQ.
