My Tamron 28-75 2.8 arrived...

Tingchaleun, if You have a warranty card try to send it to Tamron dealer!
I had the same problem, but I had only 30day warranty from seller (Japanese ebay member) I decided to find someone, who would like to get my lens. I traded it to smc-f 50/1.7, which i recently sold for 260USD (

), so I lost only 40$ at the end of all this.

My tamron had the same focus problem and very low image quality - 90% pictures were blury.

I am also considering this lens. This is the first time I see someone complain about its quality.

You both get your bad copy from eBay, looks like should stay away from them and buy from b&h or other reputable camera shops.

I can't send it to a Tamron Dealer (in North America) because the warranty card is all in Japanese. I bought the lens from Japan. However, i was able to send it back to the seller, and they will repair it for me.

I bought from ebay because i wanted to save money (1st priority), although it's definitely not saving me time (not a very high priority at the moment). Although i had to ship the item back for $25, i am still saving money - i think?. At first, i did buy from Adorama ($379 + 34 ship + 1.14% Customs/Duties = $470.82) But after one month, the item was STILL not even in Adorama's hands, so they can't ship it to me yet. I cancelled the order. I bought this item online for $345 + $30 ship + $25 shipping back for warranty = $400 (hopefully not any more than that).
