3 (yes 3) DA* lenses tested in Chasseurs d'Images

Apparently (this comes from a french pentax forum), the las edition of the french magazine Chasseurs d'Images tested 3 DA* lenses:

Overall quality is noted from * (very poor) to *****(excellent)

The DA* 16-50 f2.8 got ****

The DA* 50-135f2.8 got ****

and...

The DA* 200f2.8 (IF ED AL SDM, that's a mouthfull) got ... *****!

I am trying to now if they indicated the MSRP price but they stated an availability date of january 15 (2008 I guess ...;-))

I have the feeling that Pentax's glass is back!

You'll want longer than a 200mm for that trip, won't you?

Equal to 300mm FOV in 35mm terms - slap aconverter on it for 400mm equivalent (sorry I think in 35mm terms, I'll get over it one day!). That would do me. I mainly shoot landscapes (for which the 50-135 is excellent, and in any case the wildlife tends not to run away and I don't want to be overly tripod dependent...
