Sigma 500 f4.5 APO DG EX with Kenko 1.5x TC
Played around with using a Kenko P/AF 1.5x TELEPLUS MC teleconverter on my Sigma 500 f4.5 APO DG EX today. Although autofocus is a tad slow, I was very happy with this result. The birds were far enough away that I could not easily see them in the tree top. (A pair of Laughing Kookaburras (Dacelo novaeguinae) in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia.)

K5, hand held, AF.C, TAv mode, 1/500th, f5.6, ISO 2500, bias +0.3

Woof, an equivalent length of 1,125mm, that looks damn good.
