Look at the first entry here: Pentax M42 Screwmount Extreme Wide-Angle Prime Lens Reviews and Specifications

In short: 2 people loved it and rated it at 10, and paid an average of US$900 for it.

Ouch, my Canon 15mm f2.8 cost way less. Of course I no longer own it...

Or you can look here and see how less it is liked and how the price is falling.

That's the rare K15/3.5 AL (aspherical element) version, which is quite expensive! Only 100 were made.

K 15/3.5 AL

Asahi Optical Co named their pentaprism SLR the Pentax and its lenses Takumar, after the brother of the company founder -- see https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/general-talk/165066-who-takuma-kajiwara.html Asahi Optical later changed the company name to Pentax. But those screwmount lenses are labeled Asahi Optical Co and Takumar (or Auto-Takumar or Super-Takumar or S-M-C Takumar or Macro-Takumar or Tele-Takumar etc) and may come with lens caps labeled Pentax. All just one company. Sellers of Taks on eBay will put the name Pentax in the title line to get your attention.
