I have the 3 existing offerings, I.e. 8mm fisheye, 14mm F2.8 and 85mm F1.4 but decided to pass on this one, I already have an M35F2 and SMC Tak 35F2
I would presume that the focus ring feel on these is decent (based on a proper, greased helicoid)?

If younare referring to the samyang lenses yes, they are quite nice to use, good damping but not to much either. I find them a pleasure to use, and bought them because they filled gaps in my K mount lens line up. It is hard to justify the 35/1.4 at its price, however, as it is considerably more expensive, although I appreciate faster by a full stop, than my other lenses. The reason I got the others is they were considerably cheaper than legacy lenses at the focal length. The 35/1.4 is a break from that pattern

Oh yes. Meant the Samyangs, of course. Thanks! [edit: the 85mm FL seems kind of rare / dear, but then there is the Samyang which can be had new for what seems like a very good price ]

I second Lowell's opinion about the build quality and IQ of these three Samyang lenses. The price for 35/1.4 isn't completely outrageous either, just not as affordable as the three mentioned here. I'll see how it does over the next year or two, if the price is right I might spring for a used one but my first priority would be the still unreleased 24/1.4.

Don't think Overstock is an authorized Sigma USA dealer so you only get 1 year warranty, and not the 3 year extended warranty from Sigma USA
No, and if I were to buy it would be from either B&H, Adorama, or Amazon. With all other things being equal I'd go with B&H or Adorama to help out the forum. From what I could find in print around the internet the 24/1.4 should be released any day. Samyang Optics website indicated late-2011 or early-2012.

The mflenses thread I am linking to below has lots of great samples from the 35/1.4. Definitely worth a look if interested in that focal length.
