Mpe-65?

Has anyone heard of a canon lens being converted to a pentax? I'd give almost anything to be able to use a mpe65 on my k7. Any hope at all?

No hope at all. EOS lenses are totally incompatible with any PK mount.

Be careful, "L"BA takes on a new level if you get a canon body.

If all you care about is macro at large magnification, I think they might work great.

Canon AF lenses are all electronic aperture and the mounting flange is larger diameter with shorter registration distance.

So you shoot wide open after soldering the lens mount to a K mount. There is always a way. Not necessarily one that you want to take...
