Pentax rear converter-a 1.4x-s

I was just wondering, has anyone here own a Pentax rear converter-a 1.4x-s. Will it be able to multiply with A50mmf2.8 macro and IQ wise how good it is. Thanks.

I think @CanadaRockies has one but can't be positive as I am just going off memory. I have considered buying one just to see about the image quality but have never had the spare cash to do a test.

Excellent image quality with 300mm lenses. Should be OK with 50mm's but never tried it.
