Most of them are very rare lenses. My suggestion is to ask people to measure their lenses and give you the measurements provided that you will give them some sort of recognition or discounts on your products. Just a thought.

Regards,

Peter

I would suggest you talk to @Clinton and @Rvannatta and @SteveM but I wouldn't ship some of their specimens if I was them, not worth it IMO.

That's great. My girlfriend uses lenscoat on her Canon and I was looking forward for being able to use it with Pentax as well. I guess DA* 60-250 version will be very popular.

We hope so.

Anyone who provides a lens will get a free cover for theirs.

Having been disappointed that you didn't have a cover for the A* 400, I'm glad to see this initiative. I've sold the lens, however.

I dont think many owners of those lenses would be willing to ship them, many are quite rare and very expensive. The risk of damage, loss and theft is way too high just for a free Lens Coat.

Local owners would be a better bet, who could personally bring them in

I see, unfortunately the shipping cost would be probably more expensive than the cover :-)
Better try contacting Pentaxians from your area. Maybe you can find in some local group.

If a user had enough of your target lenses would you send a measuring technician to the owner? Southwest airlines is fairly inexpensive compared to the potential revenue.

I got a couple of these but they are right - these are rarer then hens teeth and I would not ship them anywhere. I would be interested in lenscoats for my 600 or 300 FA's though and I am in South Florida where it is nice and warm if you want to send someone down to measure them I have no issues - sending them - no way..

If you need measurements I can do that as well.

Any news concerning LensCoats for the items above? The web page unfortunately still shows not a single product for genuine Pentax lenses.
