I notice Rokinon versions are listed for pre-order on B&H for $699USD.
Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC Wide-Angle Lens for Pentax RK24MP

The lenstip review puts me off, but I was very interested in a fast wide prime.

That is a ridiculous price considering the very stout 35 1.4 is over $200 cheaper, the sigma 24 1.8 is $150 cheaper and the insanely good sigma 30mm 1.4 is over $200 cheaper. I understand the price will come down somewhat, but this lens should be $500 at most and I don't see it dropping $200 cheaper...
