Though they are too small to know for sure, I think they look very promising!
I especially like the FOV in the red car shots, very fitting perspective.

They noted the Full-Resolution images will be available on their site soon, can't wait to see those! Looking at these low-res ones, colors and rendering look very very impressive!

Looks good, however those samples are from full-frame camera's.
It will look different on our croped sensor camera's (FOV and DOF wise)

Woohooo! I've been excited for this lens since early last summer (when it was scheduled for September release). Good to see some samples come forth.

Thanks for the update!

Looking good, but is a huge lens compared to my FA35/2.

It is great for a FF DSLR but my Voigtlander Nokton 25 mm f/0.95 is much sharper than the Canon 24mm F1.4 L lens and I am sure this Samyang 24mm F1.4 is not any sharper than the much more expensive Canon or the Samyang 35mm F1.4 .

I would not get a FF 24mm F1.4 unless I had a FF body to put it on since it's no longer an extra wide lens on a cropped sensor.

Isn't 24mm on APS-C the same FOV as 35mm on a 35mm film body?
35/1.4 equivalent? If I had a Pentax DSLR I'd love to own this lens...

Chris

A 24mm on a 35mm SLR is much wider than a 36mm.

The fact that the Voigtlaender MFT lens resolves more lp/mm than the FF Canon
is not relevant, since the Canon is covering a larger circle.
