M*300 lens clean

I have an M*300 lens with fungus visible on the front two elements. I will be able to access the front
elements via the large screwed retaining rings, but am unsure how to reach the smaller elements.
I read that the K version of this lens unscrews in the middle, does anyone know if my version is similar?
I recently successfully stripped and cleaned a Helios 44M lens and am hoping for a similar result on
the Pentax lens. Thanks in advance for any information.

AFAIK the M* 300 F4 is completely different than the K version, but that's about all the help I can give you. Good luck!
