ETRS to Nikon to Pentax K ?

Would this work to get an ETRS lens to Pentax K?

I could be wrong be the links you provided would allow etrs body to use nikon lenses and then nikon to pentax lens.

Thus in theory youd get etrs body to use k mount lenses.

But keep in mind that these things add distance to the lens. Thus having two coupled together should add a ridiculous amount to the register distance and thus not work.

But im not anengineer so i coud be wrong

It would certainly be possible, I just can't figure out why you would want to. The Nikon to Pentax adapter would act like a short tele-converter and reduce image quality.

Unfortunately there isn't a commercially available ETRS to Pentax converter.

Agreed. Often times, medium format optics perform well with the intended format, but not so well with smaller media.

Thank you all.
I have also read that the older Nikons will fit onto the Pentax K mount (and well if the Nikon flange is made very slightly thinner). So I am thinking of not using the Nikon to Pentax K adapter but just the ETRS to Nikon adapter and then "manipulate" it onto the K mount of the camera with the help of a file.
Any thoughts?
