Is it worth buying the RMC Tokina 25-50 f4?

I already own the SMC Takumar 28mm 3.5 but wasn't impressed at all with the quality of the pics, i even preferred to use the CZ Flek 35 2.4.

Will only use this lens if ever for landscapes (if the quality is good enough compared to M 28).

I don't see how an old zoom could our-perform a prime, but if it's cheap, why not give it a shot?

If you want a good lens for landscape, though, why not get the DA 35mm F2.4? Some say it is a "plastic wonder" (it's actually based on the FA 35mm F2).

Thanks Adam,

I need wider than 35's... Am also considering going back to the kit lenses just for landscape purposes. i cant invest on this one since i rarely need this for landscapes.
