Pentax 50mm 1.4 vs 1.7 BOOkeh! difference?

Ive read that the 1.4 have better BOOkeh! than 1.7 but if you stop down to maybe 2.8. Is the 1.4 still better or same?

It's going to be different simply because the 1.7 has 6 blades and the 1.4 has 8.

This was taken with the A50/1.4 @ f/2.8. Notice the upper right corner has a roughly octagonal point of light. With the 1.7 that would have been hexagonal.



In night shots points of light will have 8 points with the 1.4 and 6 points with the 1.7.
