Cost no object - which lenses would you buy?

If cost were no object, which lenses would you have for your Pentax camera?

Cost no object? How about availability? If we don't have to worry about availability then... First of all the FA* 300mm F2.8; Voightlander 125 macro; FA* 85 F1.4; FA 43 F1.9ltd; A 50 F1.2 Special; finally one zoom, the as yet to be released DA* 60-250 F4.0. I'd also think about the AF 35-70 F2.8, just cause I think it's such a neat looking lens.

OOH OOH HOLD THE PRESSES! Just had a much better thought! Just get Jim King's collection!

I would really go for the FA* 400/2.8 + 1.4X-L + 2X-L
And then there is the FA* 600/4
And I really should fill the gap between the 50-135 with something better than the 70-210 A - how about a 200/4 Macro!
And a 300/2.8
And a pack mule to carry all that stuff plus what I have, excepting the 400/5.6, 1.4X-S and 70-210A

LBA - I have it, I have it, mea culpa, mea culpa.

I also would go for the 400 F2.8 plus 1.4x and 2x tcs.

second option would be 600 F4

Third would be 300 f2.8

all pentax (maybe sigma for 300 f2.8)

if cost was not a concern, I would have Pentax make me a DA* 12-400mm f/2 and a cuztom body mounted suport system cuz you know that gonna be one big sumbitch.

I bought a ticket but not yet checked out the who the winner is yet.

And getting Jim King's lenses is ultimate wise move since all of them will be kept in immaculate condition!

Who says cost ever was? lol, j/k!

I wish I could point to a Pentax lens, but can't, so perhaps the Sigma APO 800mm f5.6 EX DG if not the faster 500mm f/4.5 for some dusk shooting. Every other lens is within reach, I just choose not to buy them. (ok, speaking just current lenses here, not the fabulous old long Pentax lenses of old)

p.s. roentarre I know one person who has lenses in even more immaculate totally unused condition to acquire ... rhymes with Flice Gigh.

I would probably have to say the FA* 300 2.8, The Sigma 800 mentioned above, and a nice wide angle - currently eyeing the Sigma 10-20 (not too expensive just saving some cash to fund a Roth IRA before April :-) )

I'd probably get Sigma to make me up a 300-800 F5.6 EX DG APO in a Pentax mount.
It shouldn't be a problem for them, since they make it in most other mounts.

Pentax:
DA 14/2.8
DA 16-50/2.8
FA 31/1.8
FA 50/1.4
DA 50-135/2.8
FA 77/1.8
FA 100/2.8
FA 300/2.8
FA 400/2.8
1.4x & 2x teleconverters

Sigma:
DC 10-20/4.5-5.6
DG 70-200 f2.8 HSM (not ever made for Pentax - and the non macro version never will be - so I'll have to get it converted from F-mount maybe...)

Tamron:
28-75 f2.8

Think that covers everything.

Well, I have connections in Japan so I could get those directly from Japan local markets.
However, you could find them available in new condition from several ebay sellers.
Just check with ebay, FA*600mm US$82xx FA*300mm US$43xx
They are still under production but will only produce if there is an order (written in Japanese)
PENTAX?????????????
