Is ProMaster MF 100mm f3.5 Macro worth $80?

I just got an offer for a new "old stock" of this MF macro lens with the matched 1:1 adapter. Is this lens worth the price?

Cheers
Guna

There are reviews of both the AF and MF versions here.

$80 looks like a good price.

The optics are very good, better than the original price (I used to have the Phoenix branded one). It was something like $120 new when I bought it at least 5 years ago, so $80 for unsold old stock would be a good price, and I rather regretted selling it when I bought the Viv Series One 105 macro. It's much lighter than the old Viv.

The funny thing is that I saw one of these at Bel Air Camera last week, for those in Southern California. They used to carry Pentax but not in a long time. I assume it is unsold old stock, all I saw was the box in a display case (and didn't ask about the price), if anyone is interested and in the area.
