A really good 24-75 is the only lens they absolutely need before releasing a Full Format camera - because together with the three amigos, the DA*200/300 (which should work fine with FF) and also the 60-250 (which maybe only needs a new hood for FF?), they then have a decent lineup to start with.

It's certainly feasible but I think a lot of people would be disappointed with * quality that was only f4.

I wouldn't mind a variable-aperture zoom (e.g. 2.8-4 or 2.6-2.8 like the Tokina) 16-85 if it would pull down the size of the lens. I wouldn't want to be carrying a block of metal and glass around for a walkaround zoom like Canon users with their humongous 24-105 Ls do.
