Looks like Ricoh is serious and is listening to its customers. the 50mm and 560mm address wishes for a cheap 50mm prime and a telephoto for wildlife.

This suggests the new Pentax regime know they have to get a positive message out to the market. Hoya was probably a lifesaver for Pentax, but NOT great on communication.

It will be interesting to see which "astronomical" design converts to the 560mm! Wish I could convert their XL14 eyepiece into camera lens.. their lens expertise covers many bases.

*edit* the pictures are out (assuming they're real ) and it's lenses not mirrors in play. Good call - I like 'em compact, but no doubt the bokeh will be far better with this design.

The K-01 lens photo looks different than the 40XS to me. Anyone else see it as different? And a new DA50/1.8 that looks incredibly like the DA35/2.4

Let' see:

2 Cameras - K-01 and WG-2
1 645 Lens
4 K-Mount lenses - 40XS, 50/1.8, 560/5.6 + what I think is another pancake lens
Tethering for the 645
A Q - to - K adapter

did I miss anything

Seriously, does this look like the 40XS?

No. But it does look like a lens that will only work with the K-01.

I'm betting it will be a very fast 28mm (f1.8) for k-01 only.

Looking at the picture of the k-01 lens: If the idea is to use the room in the empty mirror box for the rear elements of the lens it might actually lead to a compact package. The Sony Nex has shown that a small body with large lenses is not exactly pocketable either.
