Scored an Auto-Takumar 55mm F2.2

I just bought my last lens for a while, an Auto-Takumar 55mm F2.2 It was attached to an excellent example of an H1A SLR.

I've been looking on the internet for some example photos made with this lens, but they are pretty sparse, although the reviews on this forum were positive.

So, do any of you have any photos you'd like to share taken with this lens? I'd like to see how this lens performs while I'm waiting on mine to arrive.

I had that lens for a brief time but I sold it because manual focus is pretty hard for me now. It is a great little lens though.
Here's the only image I really got from it. Shot wide open at min. focus distance.

Nice capture and it illustrates the bokeh of this lens well!

Yeah, I can't keep buying them like this, atleast I have to try to limit it to one every couple of months . I always tell myself that I'll sell the ones I don't absolutely love, but I haven't found a Takumar yet that fits in that category. I REALLY like my SMC 55mm F1.8, but I may part with it if I like this new lens even more. And with 10 front mounted aperture blades, that might be a very good possibility.

Yeah, that is a good image! Looks like the bokeh is excellent.

I found a few photos on Flickr using the tag autotakumar55mmf2.2 From the few photos that show up, this looks to be an excellent lens. It isn't extremely sharp, but the image IQ is very unique. It looks like this will be a fun lens to shoot with.

Here's a few examples on Flickr for those interested: Flickr: "autotakumar55mmf22"
