Alright, Which Lens from the Roadmap is on your Buy List?

Probably the 50 if nothing else (If I get the K-01 then i'll get it with the 40 - a distinct possibility at this point)

I'll definately go for the UWA as long as it doesn't cost the same as a small car. Perhaps the 12-24 drops in price? Been looking at the Samyang 14mm(why don't you ever see one of those turn up used?), but a UWA zoom from 10mm would be wicked...I'm not overly impressed with my 50-200mm either, and a 100-300mm would be a nice upgrade. I'd also like something around 70-80mm.

I think Pentax could make millions if they just relaunched some of their legacy glass. Some of the prices 30+ year old lenses sell for on ebay is scary, ridiculous and tells me that there is definately a fairly big market for them, so...just make more of them, damnit!

I'm intrigued by the Limited zoom,
although it will have to be competitive
with the K24/2.8 and DA35 Ltd Macro.

I'll pick up the 50, as it looks like it will be a price/value option like the 35 is. I love my 18-250 super zoom and would love a replacement for that since I took mine out of active use because it doesn't stay closed without locking - zoom creep.

Several might be possibilities depending on the details, but the DA Tele Zoom is very appealing. I would very much like to upgrade from my current Tammy 70-300. That was a cheap way to get that focal length range after I first switched to Pentax, but I would like to upgrade to something better. The DA Tele Zoom looks like it would be ideal. A short end near 135 would complement my DA 18-135. I would really like it to have DC motor and WR. Close focusing ability at the long end would be a nice bonus. Fast enough to use with the DA AF RC 1.4x would be great.

The lenses that interest me are currently in production or not on the roadmap. I would love a new version of the FA*24f2 if the APSC redesign allowed for a 49-52mm filter (might be asking a lot). Other than that I want to upgrade my DA40 to the FA43 and get the DFA100WR. Of course a new camera is first (probably a K-5).

I am obsessed with that mystery lens they showed for the K-01! I would love a 28mm or thereabouts as a regular lens on there. It's making me crazy that we haven't heard anything substantial yet.

Definitely the 560/5.6 AFTER all of the real specs, tests and reviews have been released.

My search for a 500mm-ish lens could well be ending with this one as long as it has a similar IQ as that of my DA*300/4.
That lens is so long though ... how in the world will I ever be able to lug that thing around ??

I am definitely going to get the AF teleconverter. The DA 560 is also very tempting, but that is probably going to cost quite a bit of money. The DA Limited Zoom is intriguing.

No, none of the planned lenses interests me either. My lens gear is pretty complete. But that doesn't mean I don't think it's great that Pentax is going full throttle again.

There are some of the current lineup on my whishlist though. DA 15 LTD, just because everybody thins it's great. And the 55mm 1.4 SDM.

More I think about new lenses and more I'm convinced in necessity of new da* 16-85 or even 15-85 canon like, 16-50 is infamous, mostly no reason for that, 17-70 is underrated and a bit pricey , so we need new da* high class standard zoom to accompany K-5 and upcoming WR bodies maybe with sensor with more pixels so new standard and maybe UW zoom are must. Old da*50-135 still would be best zoom even for upcoming cameras.

But that doesn't mean I don't think it's great that Pentax is going full throttle again. There are some of the current lineup on my whishlist though. DA 15 LTD, just because everybody thins it's great. And the 55mm 1.4 SDM.
