I am definitely going to get the AF teleconverter. The DA 560 is also very tempting, but that is probably going to cost quite a bit of money. The DA Limited Zoom is intriguing.
+1 Just got the DA*300 but have not located a teleconverter for it.

12-35 looks like it may be a great landscape option. I'll likely get it if it can surplant the Sigma 10-20, and isn't terribly expensive.
The 100-400 could be a nice step up from the 55-300 as well (if it's WR).

Several of the lenses on the roadmap look intriguing, but the most intriguing lenses will probably cost more than I can justify spending. The 560/5.6 is the most intriguing; but if it's good enough it will probably be too expensive and if it's affordable it probably won't be good enough. The 16-85 f4 (sorry, but it's very unlikely it will be f2.8) also looks intriguing, particularly if it has good edge to edge sharpness all the way through the zoom. A lens like that could make an excellent landscape lens when versatility of focal range is absolutely necessary. I suspect, however, that price and that whole SDM nuissance will keep me from buying it.

I'm pleased Pentax is going to explore the concept of a "limited" zoom, but I don't think that lens fits in my workflow. The 12-28 (or will it be 12-35?) hopefully will make a fine upgrade/replacement to the DA 12-24. I suspect that before long we'll see all the 12-24s (and their near focal range equivalents) from all brands will be replaced by UWA zooms with slightly longer focal ranges. It's good that Pentax is getting a jump on the competition.

Wider and longer would fit my urges....
I've never seen a long lens that I didn't want...... so the 560 is high on the list if it's not a public embarassment. Since I already own an A*600/f5.6
I'll be looking for IQ that can be fairly described as similar.. I'll but the 1.4TC. sign me up.. and lacking anything wider than my DA*16-50, when LBA gets the best of me, I'll buy something wider....

If the 50's in the $200 range I'll snap it up, otherwise I'll be back to shopping for an FA. There's others that I'm interested in but they're guaranteed to be out of my price range for a while.

The 560mm is probably the only new lens I would want to save for over the next year. Also the limited wide zoom if small and very high quality would be interesting. That would be it for me.

None - I need to get my 16-45 repaired (the focus gear went TU). I am thinking about the A* 300. I guess I am going backwards..... My wife was just reading over my shoulder and said that its not surprising - I've been going backwards since we got married.

For me it all comes down to the cost of replacing my third party lenses, would love to have a complete Pentax lineup, but some of those third party lenses are damn good.

Will definitely get the 1.4x AF teleconverter & will be seriously looking at the DA 560mm :ugh: but as said the BigMa will be a hard lense to lose.

Also would kill for Ricoh to upgrade the FA limiteds to WR. & re release them.

I thought likewise about replacing my Bigma, but my new Sigma 500mm and pentax 60-250 have made an amazing difference. So if you think the Bigma is good you would love my combination. Be nice if the Pentax 560 is as good or better than the Sigma 500.

Its going to be an interesting time ahead with Ricoh at the wheel :ugh:

Here's hoping.

Since I often hit the 18mm limit of the kit lens I'm interested in the wide da zoom, but probably will not wait until 2013... I hope it will be weather sealed!

The 560mm f5.6 and the 1.4x teleconverter are definitely on my wish list.

It looks like the 560 this year. Since it doesn't look to be a DA* lens I will have to wait and see how it tests and actual user reports.

Next year the DA*16-85 because of the useful range and because it is a * lens. The DA20-40 Limited zoom because it is a Limited.

I will wait and see how the DA135-400 test and how the actual buyers like it. It will be a very useful focal length range.

I would have loved to see something wider han 12mm and a "normal" high-end weather-sealed fast lens. I guess I will have to wait until 2014.
