Alright, Which Lens from the Roadmap is on your Buy List?

If the 16-85 iq is good, I will get 2 copies to replace my sigma 17-70. In addition to that, I m also extremely interested in the 12-35.

Even though I don't want a full frame, I would like to see the next road map return some of the classics such as 70mm 1.4, 70 -200mm 2.8 zoom and a really fast 35mm.

But more than anything else how about a set of fully automatic extension tubes.

The 50/1.8 sounds great and I'm very interested in a 135-400 that has WR... I'm thinking something built to pair with the 18-135. After that, I really need to find out more about each lens. The 12-35 and 16-85 are possibilities if they have WR and are high-quality optics. But I'm hoping they're smaller and lighter than the DA* 16-50.

I love the idea of a DA* 16-85~ but ONLY if it's f/2.8. Any slower max. aperture at any focal length and I'll risk the SDM issue and buy the 16-50. Actually, I don't think a 16-85 would be f/2.8 because then it would make the 16-50 redundant, unless the latter would then be somewhat cheaper.

I'd love something long like the 560 or a 135-400 for my aviation work, but I have to be honest and say that of everything on the roadmap I'll probably spring for the 50mm.

I'm Interested in that 135 - 370 ???? Depending on the aperature, hopefully a constant f4. The 16-85, once again if its a constant 2.8, and hopefully an IZ as well as IF like the 50-135 is.
