the 130-400mm if it has a reasonably fast aperture and good optics. I want better optics than the bigma's definitely.

That DA* looks nice, hope it's F2.8 and not 3.5 or whatever.

The long tele, the 560mm has my interest. I'm waiting to see the real thing, not a mock up and of course, much will depend on the price.
Me too, I'm gonna start saving (if LBA can be kept under control) and will take a look at the price and the first test results when the lens becomes reality.

If it's to expensive or does not fare wall IQ-wise, I'll probably get a Bigma instead.

EDIT: Or the 130-400 of course, if there is any more information on that available.

The 50 or the 560 (probably far too expensive for me, though). Not interested in the others.

probably the 50 for more discrete street shooting (hoping less than $200 new and hoping it's still quite tiny and light - don't care for plastic construction)

and the 560 for wildlife (depending on price)

If I succeed in selling the FA 24-90, I may get a DA SDM replacement for it. So far the DA17-70 looks like a good candidate.

i'm really looking forward to the 50mm.
I was looking for the fa 50 1.4, but now I will see how this new lense behaves, before deciding :-)

One thing for sure, it's slower.

Never thought I'ld say this but either the 100-400 or the 560, I was gonna go for a Bigma but now Pentax has long tele options!!!

MAYBE the 50 (although I prefer one to fit my film body) and the 40 for my Kx

The current DA 12-24 may be in my sights as hopefully the price will drop when the new ultra wide is released.

I'd like more info on the 560mm, but I'm not sure it's compelling enough to get rid of my other long glass.

Likely the 16-85mm if it is a quality item with WR and not too slow, but not if it is only a small step up from the kit zooms. Otherwise the 100--350mm long telephoto assuming it is a zoom and of good quality. If Pentax get it right then 16-85mm plus 100-350mm plus a 40mm or 50mm prime would make a good go-anywhere kit though perhaps not for hikers 'n' bikers

Teleconverter and 560mm. I need a new tripod before that and will keep bitching for a large aperture prime...

The 16-85 or 18-250 superzoom depending on final specs, as an alternative to the 18-135. I need to add a general purpose WR lens. I'd probably go with the superzoom if it has good IQ.

The 560 has my interest but I probably won't buy it because I already own a 560mm f7 telescope for astronomy and birds. If the 560 has good AF performance then I'll reconsider.

The 16-85 interests me as a walkaround zoom, but I'll likely have a Tammy 17-50 by the time it comes out. Then, I can wait and see the user reports and what kind of IQ it produces.

The wide zoom is also appealing, depending on quality.

Not really sure at this point. I'll have to see the specs and user reports first. Right now I'm trying to make sense of what I already have.
