Roy before this thread I remembered your add in the Marketplace. I went back and read it and am puzzled. Why did you remove the UPC codes? I looked at my rebate form and nothing there for that lens. Is there a rebate somewhere that I am missing? If so please let me know so I can do the double dip as well

I have 2 of these sitting in a bag with my name on it and no one to pick them up A friend of mine drove 1 hour to get them yesterday and they had been pulled but no one could find them. I call back this morning to see what happened and the original guy that pulled them for me yesterday was not there last night. He went and put his hands on them and still has them. I do not know if I will be able to talk my friend into another hour drive my luck sucks! LOL that is life I guess

You must have made them dig for it. I called and they told me that they did not have a single Pentax lens. I have a friend there that I know would have picked it up for me. Oh well...like I said that is life

I felt left out so...

I went to our local store, and just tried out a fa50. I already have a M50, but I figured I would just play a bit. I got home and when one of the 'sniper' shots from the store came up on my screen, I went back to the store and bought the copy off the shelf for a quickly accepted offer of $20 off. Here's 2 of the sniped shot from Mike's Camera in Boulder, CO. They turned out so good! Congrats to you guys who got them for CHEAP!!!

Get one

I bought this for full price several months ago, and I would have gladly paid twice what it retails for. It's probably my favorite, most versatile lens, and it's capable of true beauty. Even wide open, while some would consider it "soft" - well, I think that's the kind of "soft" photographers strive to achieve.

Both of these are low-light, quickly taken snapshots, no post-processing:
