Polarizer for 14mm Pentax lens

Does the Pentax 14mm require a low profile polarizer to avoid vignetting? Or can one get by with a standard polarizer filter?

Polarizer would go direct on lens and not on another filter.

Thanks

Require? Not really but it would help avoid any vignetting. I don't use a polarizer anymore on my DA 14 outdoors as I've come to not like the variations in sky color produced by this wide angle lens.

You should be fine with a regular polarizer such as this one:
B77CRPLGB Hoya 77mm Circular Polarizer Glass Filter

It'll save you $40 over the thin one.

What he said. Polarizers and ultra-wide angle lenses don't play well together. The darkening effect is dependent on angle of light. That is why polarizers have a rotating collar to allow for some adjustment. When your subject spans a huge arc of sky, one end is pale and the other deeply intensely blue.
