Is this the lens you are talking about?

Actually...rather than having a fixed aperture, it doesn't have an aperture at all
It is constantly corresponding to f8, the opening is the same all the time. Almost all mirror lenses work in this way (it uses mirrors instead of lenses to focus the light). The very rare exception are a few that has some lens elements behind the mirror part and an aperture there.

This lens is generally considered the best third party 500mm mirror lens. Depending on conditions, and if the original bag, filters, and sun shade is included it could go for between 100 and 200 Euro.
The mount can be exchanged to most other camera mounts (these lenses were called adapt-all lenses). If it is an ordinary K mount it doesn't change the value significantly, but if it is a KA mount the story is different. The adaptall KA mount (in which case it has three electrical contacts) is worth easily another 50 Euro. Now, a "fixed aperture" lens like this do not need these electrical contacts since they communicate the aperture to the camera, so probably it is a K mount. But I've seen these lenses come with KA mounts anyway sometimes, so it is worth checking. Can't be more precise than this without seeing the lens.

You need an adaptall-2 adapter. Like this one:

You can shoot with it in Av (aperture priority). Then the camera will change shutter speed automatically as light change.
Focus you will have to do automatically, but the focus indicators in the viewfinder will flash and confirm when you are in focus. If you have the beep sound enabled that will also help you.

Have fun!

The OP already stated that it has a K mount.
