You'd figure Voigt would start making these things again at that price.

If they start making them again in quantity, the guys that paid that kind of money would cry because prices will go down.

The holy grail of macro lenses...doesn't surprise me too much. What does surprise me is that the Voigt hasn't been re-released at a ~$1k price point. They'd sell like hot cakes. Of course that can be said for many lenses...Tokina 90/2.5, Sigma 100-300/4, etc. Sometimes I wonder if these companies pay attention to used prices post product discontinuation.

There seems to be a $700 penalty for Nikon mount... Three Canon fit listed with the "Buy it now" at "just" $2,600, and that's close to what I paid for an A*200mm, last year, so no criticism here.

There are certain lenses that you just want... no, need to have.

Leaves one in two minds, once you've got a legacy lens, whether you want to see them in production again. TBH I still think a new, sealed long macro would be a system selling point, just keep it above £2,000.

Wow, I sold mine for what I thought was a handsome profit a couple years ago. Should have hung onto it and just considered it part of my son's savings for college.

Strangely the buyer has a lot of bidding/buying activity with this seller. I suggest that this is a money laundering activity...

I've seen 3 PK mount 125s here over the past 2 years, going for approx. $1,800, 1,500 and 1,000 (not cosmetically perfect but glass great - I was too late on this one)
