YOUR lens roadmap

Pentax recently published their 2012/2013 lens roadmap. What is your lens roadmap for 2012/2013? I'll start. I'm a prime shooter, mostly landscapes/travel, but also like portraits and a little bit of macro. May want to expand into some wildlife shooting, and have a yen to try some K manual focus primes.

Current kit: DA 15, FA 43, FA 77
Needs/wants: APS-C "normal" prime, medium telephoto(s)
Lenses I have in mind: something in the 24-31 range (FA* 24/2, F 28/2.8, K 28/3.5, K 30/2.8, or FA 31/1.8), a 135 (either F 135/2.8 or K 135/2.5), the K 200/2.5

What's on your roadmap?

Pentax DA 560mm f/5.6 - that's the only thing I'm really interested in at the moment.

IMO, they really need a 24 or 28mm. don't care if its f2 or f2.8. I'd expect to be small if its f2.8.
In that way, Pentax will be well covered for Primes, and provide a good proposition for new users planning on a affordable prime setup.
DA15ltd > DA24/28 > DA50 > DA70ltd (UWA and portrait primes are always more costly, so no urgent need for a cheap DA non-ltd version)

If there was more luxury to get more lenses, I'd like a 85/1.4 or 85/1.8 and 135/2 too.

SMC PENTAX-A 645 35mm 1:3.5
SMC PENTAX-A 645 200mm 1:4
SMC PENTAX-A* 645 300mm 1:4 ED [IF]

I'm holding off on small format glass until I upgrade my camera body, and I'm holding off on that until I see what follows the K-5. Until then, I'm concentrating on medium format film.

The need for an UWA zoom is currently not big enough to justify a purchase but sometimes I start wondering what I could do with it. So the lust for a DA12-24 or 3rd party equivalent starts to show its head; trying to postpone till the future developments by Pentax (as shown on the roadmap) materialize.

As my wife has confiscated the DA55-300, I might be looking at the new telezoom (120-360 or whatever it is) in future. Priority however is extremely low.

And the last two are a manual focus K-mount 28/2.8 and M42 28mm or 35mm. Those will probably be bought before the above.

Adding some interesting MF lenses (20-40mm). Converted if need be. M28/3.5 is currently incoming.

My usual shooting is covered. My DA*16-50 too new to upgrade even if they do come out with a new model.

-Sigma 30/1.4 (to replace my workhorse M28/2)
-Possibly fast telephoto

I've been musing on collecting the F series over time, so that may happen in dribs and drabs.

Current kit: a zillion lenses.

Wanted: manual lens in 20-30mm range, 120g or less, such as the Rikenon XR 28/3.5 Aspheric (60g).

That's the closest I have to a roadmap. Fit-out my ultra-light mini-kit, and I'll be happy, until the next obsession wanders along. Well, any old preset lenses that I encounter, they're fair game too. And any cheap Meyers or Ennas.

I want to see the performance of the new DA 50 1.8 and decide between it or an FA 50 1.7
I also need a fast zoom like a Tamron 28-75 f2.8 or the 17-50 f2.8
I'd also love to get a limited, maybe a DA40....

My current kit:
DA10-17, DA18-135, DA55-300, DA35 2.8 ltd macro, FA50 1.4, vivitar 800mm, etc... etc...

So, I've got all focal lenghts covered that are importand to me. Next steps would be replacing my lenses with better equivalents.

The DA55-300 and Vivitar 800mm could be replaced with a DA*300, I hardly ever use the 800mm and I use the zoom as a prime on 300mm.

And I'd love to replace the FA50 1.4 with the FA43ltd. But then again, that's so close to the 35mm that I already have, and which I'm VERY happy with.

So selling my Vivitar 800mm and DA55-300 would be my first step on my roadmap now. What do they go for second hand & in perfect state?

I'm hoping the new 10-25mm is going to be a good, affordable(cheap) lens, but it probably won't. If i can afford it, i will probably buy that at some point. I'd also like something WR in the 20-80mm range and something WR around 250-300mm, but i don't see that happening anytime soon.

EDIT: If i win the lottery, i'd also like the 35 macro and the DA70.

I have plenty of zooms and am thinking of adding a couple of limited primes to the mix.
