Wow! So now it is possible! Just have to increase the screw thread size to 49mm and all is good. Now the next question is; is there an adaptar for Samsung mount for K5?

Isn't it more likely that Pentax would introduce a 16/2.8 or 16/2.4 pancake in the XS line? It seems a more natural direction to follow (and would be a much smaller lens than a conventional DA 16/2.4 . . .)

Samsung NX register (flange-focal distance) is 25.5mm. Pentax register is 45.46mm. For an NX lens to be fitted to a PK camera and reach infinity focus, it would either need 1) 20mm shaved off the lens body, or 2) an optical adapter that acts like a TC: greater focal length, tighter aperture, diminished IQ. But don't believe me: search eBay for SAMSUNG PENTAX ADAPTER and see what returns, eh? I think you'll find that PK lenses are easily adapted to NX, but not vice-versa. Good luck!
